The Knowledge Management (KM) Section is responsible for enabling knowledge flow to enhance a shared understanding, learning, and decision-making across the GCC. The KM section develops, executes, and monitors the GCC KM Program. Additionally, the KM Section conducts Content and Information Management, and Records Management, through the utilization of tools such as ARIMS, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft OneDrive, and other cloud and on premises solutions, in line with Army doctrine. The KM Section consists of the KM Working Group (KMWG) with representatives from each of the GCC divisions, and is lead by the KM Officer (KMO). All GCC KM efforts are authorized, overseen, and guided by the GCC Chief Knowledge Officer (CKO), the Deputy Director. Performs the following Knowledge Management functions:
• Support the NETCOM-wide KM program, which assesses, designs, implements, executes, oversees, and monitors compliance with KM governance framework, policies, and guidance.
• Support NETCOM with maintaining multiple, functionally aligned document libraries and an associated control program for all NETCOM documents.
• Support NETCOM with developing and maintaining various documents in support of enterprise capabilities and communication requirements.
• Operate and maintain a web-based document library.
• Support NETCOM and its customers with KM enterprise solutions with limited privileged-level access to all NETCOM managed Army DoDIN environments.
• Support customer training requirements for developed enterprise solutions.
• Manage, recommend, and implement approved changes and/or enhancements to the GCC Knowledge Management (KM) processes to improve the efficiency of operations for the GCC.
• Improve tools and processes for publishing, disseminating, analyzing, and managing operational data.
• Manage information and data to establish a single authoritative source for all information required to effectively execute GCC’s mission.
• Coordinate with all divisions across the GCC to develop and maintain a Roles-Base Contingency Plan.
Basic Qualifications:
Target Salary Range: $80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
