The Information Technology Specialist I (ITS I) provides technical expertise and support across a wide range of IT functions. Under general direction, the incumbent serves as a technical resource for the planning, implementation, administration, and maintenance and support of systems and services. In addition, each position requires expertise in either Networks, Security, Service Desk Support, ServiceNow Administration, or Advanced Acquisitions Processes. This role involves collaborating with internal teams, external partners, and vendors to deliver secure, efficient, and effective technology solutions.

TECHNICAL BUSINESS MANGEMENT: IT Specialist I – ServiceNow Administrator
1. Describe your experience and knowledge with ServiceNow and/or any other enterprise service management platform. Provide a specific example of how you have used ServiceNow or any other enterprise service management platform.
2. Describe your experience analyzing business requirements and designing solutions within ServiceNow or a similar service management platform. Include specific examples where you gathered technical specifications, translated them into system designs and ensured alignment with organizational needs.
3. Give an example of when you have worked on an IT project that involved implementing or enhancing a business process within ServiceNow or a similar platform. What was your role in the project, how did you collaborate with stakeholders and what was the outcome?
TECHNICAL BUSINESS MANGEMENT: IT Specialist I – GenAI Specialist
1. Describe how your experience, knowledge, and skills would make you the most desirable candidate for a GenAI Specialist that will be involved in the acquisition process.
2. Explain your ability to research emerging technologies, trends and risks related to GenAI. Give an example of how you have developed or recommended a product for the use of new or emerging technologies.
3. Discuss your experience participating in a procurement or acquisition of IT software. How did you gather requirements, conduct market research, or assist with the procurement or acquisition process to ensure solutions met business and technical needs and followed appropriate procurement guidelines.
TECHNICAL BUSINESS MANGEMENT: IT Specialist I – Service Desk Specialist
1. Describe how your experience, knowledge, and skills would make you the most desirable candidate for an IT Service Desk support position. Explain in detail your experience working at an IT Service Desk while maintaining a high level of customer service.
2. Provide examples of how you have supported telecommunication technologies such as VOIP phones, cellular devices, and video conferencing systems.
3. Describe a time when you worked as part of an IT Service Desk support team to resolve a complex technical issue involving other team members. How did you communicate with the team members, escalate problems when needed and document resolutions?
SECURITY: IT Specialist I – RC Compliance and Assessment Specialist
1. Describe how your current experience has prepared you for this position.
2. Provide an example of previous accomplishments where you worked with your colleagues to achieve a significant goal for the business, what was your role, and what was the impact to the business.
3. What value do you expect to be brought to this position for both your teammates and the individuals we serve.
