Order Picker / Packer

Fort Worth, TX | Onsite

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

• $19 hourly

• 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM Monday - Friday

• W2

• Start date: ASAP

ROLE IMPACT

This role is essential to the accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders in a high-volume distribution environment. Success in this position is defined by order accuracy, adherence to packing standards, and contribution to overall warehouse productivity and compliance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate voice-directed picking system to retrieve and stage product orders accurately

• Identify and select correct products, ensuring small items are bagged or bundled for identification

• Verify product selections during both picking and packing stages

• Select and prepare appropriate packaging to protect product integrity during shipment

• Pack items securely, especially glass and liquids, using proper materials and techniques

• Dispose of empty packaging and maintain a clean, safe workspace

• Participate in special projects and complete additional tasks as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, or relevant work experience

• Basic reading, math, and computer literacy required

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions

• Capable of identifying subtle differences in product details (e.g., size, color, codes)

CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS

• Voice-directed order picking systems

• Packing list verification tools

• Basic warehouse inventory systems

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Prior warehouse or order fulfillment experience

• Familiarity with shipping/packing procedures

• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
