Job Description

PPS is seeking a Production Manager for our new metal extrusion facility in Phoenix, Arizona. This is a full-time permanent position with a highly competitive starting pay rate, excellent benefits, and a high ceiling for growth!

Responsibilities:    

• Lead and manage all operational aspects of the production line in a safe and efficient manner.
• Collaborate with other shift and department managers and upper management to meet daily goals and create plans for production.
• Develop and implement production schedules and staffing plans to maximize efficiency.
• Continuously evaluate production processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Implement best practices and new technologies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure that all jobs are completed on time, within budget, and to client specifications.
• Serve as a role model on personal protective equipment, the safe handling of machinery and material, and on following company policies and quality processes.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

• Previous experience with aluminum manufacturing processes, knowledge of or ability to learn aluminum standards, and the ability to understand machinery and get hands dirty.
• A minimum of 10 years management experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Experience with lean manufacturing.
• Proven history of effective inter-departmental collaboration.
